SLUSH

Treat yourself to  some yummy slush – whether you want to turn into a slush is up to you 😉    I got this recipe from my mother-in-law. She usually serves it with 7-up but my sisters and I found out that it tastes even better with champagne (but really what doesn’t taste better with champagne?).  My MIL likes to makes this fun drink around the holidays, specifically New Year’s Eve.  I should have gotten this posted earlier because it does take a couple days to freeze.  You can stick it in your deep freeze or if you live up North you just use Mother Natures deep freeze and put it on the front step.  Make sure to stir it every now and then so it doesn’t freeze solid.

 Slush

6 c. water

3 c. sugar

1 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice

1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade

1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice

Bring water and sugar to a boil.  Remove from heat and stir in the juices.  Put in a large Tupperware container with lid.  Stir while freezing.      Serve with half the slush mixture and equal half 7-Up (or champagne!)
