The Almost Complete Toy Bin

So I am one of those people who gets a present for someone and then can’t wait for them to open it.  I’m just not great at dealing with anticipation.  That’s why I’m giving you a peak at the second item I just got done building for Jack’s room . Its the almost complete vertical toy bin.

It’s all built I just need to do the fun, cosmetic stuff next.  I’m having a little indecisiveness on that part and have decided to see how the room comes together to make my final decision.  I’m leaning towards staining it and attaching oil rubbed bronze numbers “1,2,3” below the bins.   Another idea is to do a distressed black or maybe red. Maybe I will put his name on it, maybe I will put the word TOYS on it… so many possibilities.  One thing I will probably do is put some tin pails in the small bins – this is for my little hoarder remember so he needs to be able to carry around all his prized possessions (oh and little update: he loves using his monster bag to tote everything around).  This will help him keep them organized and easily be able to put them away at the end of the day.

I think he is going to love it!  I love it!   I can’t wait until I can make up my mind so I can complete it!  I can’t wait to see it all pulled together!

Its another great one by Anna White – if you haven’t noticed yet I really like her plans.  They are all free and really easy to understand for a novice like me. I always make mistakes along the way but I’m just learning that much more for the next project.
